STRUCTURE OF THE BASIC CERTIFICATE IN PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY

The required hours for the Basic Technician Certificate in Procurement and Supply are calculated to ensure comprehensive and adequate coverage of all the technical material that the student requires mastering the module. The programme contains 12 modules which are spread over two semesters, in one academic year of 15 weeks each, meaning that the whole programme has a total of thirty (30) weeks of study.

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW:
The modules are divided into two semesters of the one year programme. The table below shows the division of the modules, notional hours per week and credits for each.

PROGRAMME MODULES:

The programme modules have been divided into two parts. The first part consists of core modules and the other consists of support modules.

The core modules refer to those modules associated with the core studies. They are the development of the main theme of this Certificate Programme.

Support modules are the modules that provide a range of supportive skills, knowledge, principles and competences expected for a Basic Technician Certificate Graduate.
